Welcome to ProTutor, an online platform that connects parents/students with qualified tutors for home and online tutoring services. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our platform, website, and services ("Services"). By accessing or using ProTutor, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About ProTutor
ProTutor is a marketplace that facilitates connections between parents (or students) and independent tutors. We do not directly provide tutoring services but act as a platform for users to discover and engage with tutors.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the platform on behalf of a minor.
Tutors must meet ProTutor's verification criteria and provide accurate qualifications.
3. User Accounts
Users (both tutors and parents) must create an account with valid information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
ProTutor reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account found violating these terms.
4. Tutor Verification & Responsibilities
Tutors must submit valid documents to verify their identity, qualifications, and experience.
Tutors are responsible for the quality and content of the sessions they deliver.
Any misrepresentation may lead to permanent removal from the platform.
5. Parent/Student Responsibilities
Parents are expected to provide accurate requirements during the request process.
Payment for classes must be made in a timely manner.
Any issues with tutor performance should be reported to ProTutor.
6. Payments & Fees
ProTutor may charge a platform fee or commission on tutor earnings.
All financial transactions must be completed through approved channels.
ProTutor is not responsible for any payments made outside the platform.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
Each tutoring engagement is subject to a cancellation policy agreed upon between the parent and tutor.
ProTutor may offer mediation in case of disputes but does not guarantee refunds.
8. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purposes.
- Harass, exploit, or abuse other users.
- Exchange contact information to bypass the platform for future transactions.
9. Limitation of Liability
ProTutor is not liable for the outcome of any tutoring session.
We do not guarantee academic results or student performance improvements.
Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the ProTutor platform is the property of ProTutor or its licensors and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without permission.
11. Modifications
ProTutor reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of changes via email or through the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hyderabad, India.
